Peter MacGregor - Guardian

Peter MacGregor established Student Guardian Service in 1987. Peter was originally asked by a friend to be a guardian for their child whilst they studied in Australia. When Peter agreed and discovered how many students were in need of a good guardian, who would ensure there time in Australia was productive and supported, he established Student Guardian Service. Peter has been a guardian ever since. Peter also speaks fluent Mandarin.

Janine Livingston - Welfare Officer (Melbourne)

Janine has worked at Student Guardian Service since 2004, looking after the international students under our guardianship and care. Janine's has obtained her Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Before joining Student Guardian Service, she worked at a variety of Institutions including the Department of Education providing welfare support for local and overseas students. Overall she has 10 years experience in student welfare and support.

Wayne Parry - Welfare Officer (Sydney)

Wayne has worked at Student Guardian Service since 2007, looking after the international students under our guardianship and care. Before joining Student Guardian Service, he worked at a variety of Institutions providing welfare support for local and overseas students. Overall he has 12 years experience in student welfare and support.

Emily Lee D'Cruz - Marketing

Emily has been Peter's business partner since he established Student Guardian Service in 1987. Emily's brother was the first student to be cared for by Peter. It was the Lee Family who inspired Student Guardian Service to be formed. Emily has been involved with the care and guardianship of all of the students that have come through Student Guardian Sevice. Starting as an Internaional Student in Australia herself, she can identify very easily with our students. Emily also speaks fluent Mandarin and Taiwanese Dialect.

Nigel Atkinson- Marketing

Nigel has been with Student Guardian Service since 2007, and has previously worked in International Marketing.

Hieu Chau - Administration

Hieu has been with Student Guardian Service since 2006, she is from South Vietnam and speak fluent Vietnamese.

Yenni Lim - Accounts

Yenni has been with Student Guardian Service since 2007, she is from Indonesia and speaks fluent Indonesian and Mandarin.

Past Staff

Marianne Van Leeuwen - Welfare Officer

Marianne has worked at Student Guardian Service from 1998 and finshed with us in March 2006. Marianne looked after the international students under our guardianship and care. Before joining Mac and Lee, she worked at Melbourne University providing welfare support for local and overseas students. Overall she had about 15 years experience in student welfare and support.

Marilyn Chen - Office Assistant

Marilyn has worked at Student Guardian Service since 2003, looking after the international students under our guardianship and care. Marilyn is able to speak fluent Mandarin and is our main translator. Marilyn is in the office on Tuesday's and Thursday's and is available for parents who only speak Mandarin.
